Who is She?

My name is Staysha Johnson, and just like any other canonic event story, mine begins in childhood. Throughout the years growing up, I would have what they call "prophetic dreams," where I would dream of a specific person, place or thing and I would come across those moments in real life. I would find myself knowing things about people and places and have no idea how I knew them. I would see shapes and patterns in nature and hear periodic ringing in my ears before an event would take place. One of my earliest memories is of myself sitting on the edge of my bed in my room completely alone, the sun shone brightly through the window onto my feet, feeling such joy and contentment in that moment. When, all of a sudden, these words barreled out of my mouth; "I am going to change the world." I was 5 years old.

Then, as it does, life took a turn. In my teen years, I experienced trauma after trauma that landed me on my back time and time again (If you're reading this, odds are you understand what I mean!). These traumas forced me to challenge my perception of the world, society and what is considered "normal." I experienced a deep 7 year deflation period. I was unable to get myself out of bed or take care of myself for most of those years. I was forced into hermit-mode, I processed and learned and grew during those days in bed. And, like many of us, learned what C-PTSD was from licensed therapists on TikTok during 2020 when I had my Spiritual Awakening. Plagued with horrific flashbacks and somatic responses, I decided to put all of my bad eggs in a basket, pick them out one by one and address them. 

Fast forward to 2023, I was taking a long drive alone when I received a message from my spirit team! This was the first one I'd had since the 7 years had started. All I heard was, "Shaman. Shaman. Shaman." I had no idea what a Shaman was, so I asked my car and it gave me the definition: "A Shaman, in many cultures, is considered a spiritual leader; also known as a 'medicine man.' To learn more about Shaman, click the link sent to your device." From there, I spent 2 years on and off looking up Reiki Masters near me on Google, no matter how hard I searched Bing or Google, I couldn't find what I was looking for. I was in therapy one Friday and I took a bathroom break and came back. My therapist said, "Hey, welcome back! I found this Reiki Master website, it looks a little sketchy but it says she has free phone consultations. Maybe you can book one of those and see what happens!"  I did just that. 2 weeks later, I take that call. Turns out she was also a psychic medium and we hit it off. She was exactly what I'd been looking for.

Now it's December 2024 and I'm officially Reiki certified and ready to start considering sharing this gift. Since I've started this journey, I have NEVER been more connected to myself, Spirit, or nature. I am hearing and seeing guidance every single day. I am so excited to share these gifts with the world and those who need healing, either through breathwork, sound or Reiki (Life Force Energy; Chi). This is my purpose and I dedicate my life to helping people live theirs to the fullest.
